If you are in pain, we consider this an urgent condition, and we want to resolve it for you as quickly as possible. A toothache can be caused by many different things, such as deep decay in the pulp of the tooth or infection of the tooth, gums, or mouth. Whatever the cause, when you come to us in a dental emergency, we will not only get you out of pain — we will find out what’s causing it. Once we know the source of your pain, we will schedule an appointment to treat the deeper issue. Even if you’re not in pain, you may be experiencing a dental emergency if you have suffered a chip or break to one of your front teeth.
